1F Sunlight Gallery, Yingge Ceramics Museum 香港陶艺家曾章成，以作品《惊奇的水花》荣获「2012台湾国际陶艺双年展」首奖，因而获得于陶博馆举办个展的机会。在国际间获奖无数且颇具
盛名的曾章成，投入陶艺创作将近20载，擅长以幽默诙谐的手法表现发人省思的题材，透过深厚的手捏及拉坯技法，扩张一般人对媒材与内容的想
像，为作品注入活力与生命。 本次展览特别精选艺术家创作的29件精湛作品，题材包含艺术家对于社会、环保及反战议题的关心与反省，更有对于人性内在情感及矛盾的深刻表
达。艺术家擅长以细腻写实的手法，刻画水花瞬间停格的画面，让人感受柔软的水花在瞬间爆发的力道。作品中也有不少表现婴孩纯真且丰富的表
情与体态，看似诙谐逗趣的卡漫式造形，细细品味内容，却能体会背后对于人类关怀、反省及反讽的寓意。充满创意及想像的作品，透过造形与内

Hong Kong-based ceramicist Johnson Tsang won the Grand Prize of the 2012 Taiwan Ceramics Biennale with his outstanding artwork Splash
of Wonder and was given the opportunity to put on a solo exhibition at the Yingge Ceramics Museum. A world-renowned ceramic artist who has
won numerous international ceramic competitions, Tsang has dedicated himself to ceramic creation for over two decades. He is known for
presenting insightful interpretations of social issues through the jocular and amusing appearance of his artwork. He redefines people's
understanding of ceramic materials and meaning by instilling life into artwork with skillful hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.
This exhibition showcases 29 of Tsang's most celebrated ceramic works, which encompass such wide-ranging themes as social, environmental
and anti-war issues. They present Tsang's deepest contemplation of humans' internal emotions and self-contradictions. Tsang’s artwork often
depicts realistic themes such as water, in which he captures the moment of suspended, splashed, or flowing liquid with lifelike sculptures. He is
also known for his realistic depiction of infants' innocent, yet rich facial expressions and postures. Built and sculptured with a great sense of
humor, Tsang's ceramic works are in fact metaphors of his own personal concerns. They are also reflections and satires of the human condition.
Realized through his extraordinary sense of imagination and creativity, Tsang's Solo Exhibition exemplifies the perfect marriage between ceramic
form and meaning, creating a breath-taking and eye-opening experience for audiences of all ages.
